This Privacy Notice explains how TrendMind AI ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use our Service. We act as the data controller for the personal data described here.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data — name, email, login credentials, profile details.
  • Creator data — the channels, niche, competitors, ideas, and content you connect or generate inside the Service.
  • Support data — messages you send us and their attachments.
  • Usage and telemetry — pages visited, features used, request logs, error diagnostics.
  • Device data — device and browser identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP.

Payment card details are collected and processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle, not by us.

2. How we use your data

  • Provide the Service — create your account, generate trends/ideas, sync channels. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
  • Security and fraud prevention — detect abuse, protect accounts, keep logs. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
  • Product improvement and analytics — understand feature usage and reliability. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
  • Customer support — respond to your questions. Legal basis: performance of a contract / legitimate interests.
  • Marketing communications — product updates and offers, where permitted. Legal basis: consent or legitimate interests, and you can opt out anytime.
  • Legal compliance — meet obligations under applicable law. Legal basis: legal obligation.

3. Who we share data with

  • Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database, authentication, analytics, error monitoring, and AI model providers that process data on our behalf under contract.
  • Merchant of Record (Paddle) — for the sale of the Service, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, invoicing, and refund handling.
  • Professional advisers — legal, accounting, and audit advisers under confidentiality.
  • Authorities — where we are required by law or to protect rights and safety.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to equivalent protections.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. International transfers

Some of our subprocessors are located outside the UK/EEA. Where personal data is transferred internationally we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

5. Retention

When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymised. Account data is retained while your account is active and for a limited period afterward to allow reactivation and meet legal record-keeping requirements.

UK/EEA users may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority. We aim to respond to verified requests within one month.
